NPD Theft Report for June 1-8, 2022

June 8
8:30 a.m.: Caller reported identity theft.
8:09 p.m.: Caller on Rowena Street stated someone stole her purse while she was sleeping. Officers responded. Purse wasn’t stolen, only misplaced.
10:14 p.m.: Caller at Agape Love Center reported unknown subjects gained entry into his vehicle causing $300 in damage to driver’s side window and stole a Glock 14 9MM valued at $600.

June 7
7:01 a.m.: Caller on Berry Ave. reported her son stole her phone following an argument. Value $65.
8:06 a.m.: Complainant reported a burglary at Restoration Apostolic Ministry on Fairgrounds Road. Complainant stated an unknown suspect entered a storage shed and took a riding lawnmower valued at $500.
9:39 a.m.: Caller at Motel 6 reported someone broke into their laundry room the night before. Complainant advised a w/m on the premises at 8 a.m. and at 89:32 he was seen loading chemicals into a truck, stolen from the laundry room Estimated value is $1,000 and damage to the door and linens valued at $700.
10:22 a.m.: Someone stole $2,600 worth of gutters from Goodwill.
11:04 a.m.: Caller advised a possible suspect to the burglary at RAM church and Motel 6 was at Texaco Xpress Mini Storage. Brandon Kendrick was arrested and taken to NPDC.
1:32 p.m.: Complainant at Family Dollar on South Drive stated a known male subject placed several items in his pants and left the store.
2:46 p.m.: Complainant stated an unknown suspect gained entry into a vehicle and removed a 9MM handgun valued at $500.
3:42 p.m.: Wal-Mart Asset Protection called to report an unknown Hispanic walked out of the store with items she did not pay for. Some items were recovered but she still left with $60.56 worth of merchandise.
3:57 p.m.: Complainant at the police station reported that on April 29 she was legally evicted from her apartment and her belongings were placed on the curb. She went to get a Uhaul and upon returning her washer and dryer valued at $2,240 were missing.
9:20 p.m.: Caller at Dollar General on Hwy 3175 advised an unknown subject stole her wallet she left in the buggy. Possible suspect identified.
June 5
10:29 a.m.: Caller at Comfort Suites on Hayes Avenue stated an unknown subject gained entry into a vehicle and took a Sig Sauer .380 ACP handgun valued at $1,100.
6:22 p.m.: Caller at the National Guard Armory reported an unknown subject gained entry into a vehicle and removed a Para Ordinance .45ACP handgun.
Time unknown: 911 caller reported five b/m subjects were trying to break into a vehicle. Nothing was taken but the driver’s side window was broken out.
June 4
6:38 p.m.: Complainant requested an officer to Super 1 on Keyser. His vehicle was stolen. Caller advised his keys fell from his side and now his vehicle is gone. The vehicle was located. Complainant forgot where he parked!
June 1
10:20 a.m.: Super 1 on the Bypass reported a theft. Nicole Washington was arrested for theft of $185 and taken to NPDC.
