It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother and friend, Lana Frank Scott, age 79. Lana was born in Natchitoches and preceded in death by her parents, Webbie Francis Frank and Katherine Bell Frank, as well as the love of her life Terry Scott Sr.
Lana is finally at peace after a long battle with Alzheimers.
She lived a vivacious life full of grace, beauty and love. She was an anchor to her husband and children, Terry Scott Jr. and Raike Scott.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lana loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals. Classy and elegant, she was the utmost gracious hostess with her sense of style and sophistication being reflected in all she did. Lana always paid the highest attention to detail in every pursuit, always taking pride in her appearance, home and family.
Lana is survived by her children, Terry Scott Jr. of Natchitoches and Raike Scott of Shreveport; sister, Diana Frank of Natchitoches; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She will be missed by all.
