NPD Theft Report for July 16-31, 2022

•JULY 16
8:59 a.m.: Officer at Antoon’s Package Liquor on Hwy 3110 advised a 2019 Chevy was broken into by an unknown subject who removed a T365 Sigsauer 9MM pistol valued at $500. Incident happened between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
9:02 a.m.: In addition to the above, a Taurus 4MM pistol valued at $350 was stolen from a 2015 Ford at the same location. Damages to the window is valued at $300. Incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 2 am.
9:15 a.m.: Another theft occurred at Antoon’s, this time an iPhone 13 mini valued at $900 and Lexus car keys valued at $500 were taken from a 2017 Lexus. Incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.
11:20 a.m.: Holiday Inn Express called. Unknown subjects broke out the driver window to a 2021 Ram 3500 causing $600 in damages and removed a 9MM pistol valued at $600. Incident occurred during the night.
2:57 p.m.: Life jackets were reported stolen from the paddle boat rental stand on the riverbank.

•JULY 21
6:48 a.m.: Hwy 1 South Shop-A-Lott, officer advised a male was subcontracted to mow the llawn on two separate occasions. He stole a 32 oz. Miller Highlite, $1.99 each. Total value on both $3.98. Banned from location.
11:17 a.m.: Wal-Mart, Manager reported 3 juveniles attempting to take items from the store. Total was $288.34. A juvenile was released to older brother.
2:41 p.m.: Caller stated while staying at Chateau St. Denis on Fourth of July weekend an unknown subject removed $150 worth of items from a bag.
8:34 p.m.: Family Dollar South Drive, Male subject took items valued at $9.

•JULY 29
1:37 p.m.: Caller reported a theft of his storage unit at Keep Safe Storage on Reba Street. Caller stated his sister-in-law contacted the maintenance man and convinced him to cut the lock. $2,017 in power tools were taken.
4:56 p.m.: Super 1 on the bypass security reported a b/m, wearing a red shirt put frozen products in a bag and left.

•JULY 30
1:59 a.m.: Caller on Jacko Street called in reference to someone using his soap. Caller left his residence earlier in the day and returned home to notice a bar of soap missing!
2:05 p.m.: Keep Safe Storage. Caller stated an unknown subject gained entry by breaking a lock and removed multiple items. Value $14,000.

•JULY 31
5:50 a.m.: A caller in Houston reported her apartment at the Quad was burglarized. Caller stated she was in the process of moving and when she returned to get the rest of her belongings they had been stolen.
10:30 a.m.: Super 1 Foods caller stated she observed two b/m suspects taking items from the deli and walking out with the items concealed in purses. Two juveniles were observed removing beverages from store shelves and drinking them without paying. Two juveniles arrested.
10:58 a.m.: Caller at the Quad apartments advised two unknown subjects broke into her vehicle
8:36 p.m.: 911 caller at the Cloutier Town House stated he has been out of town and upon returning found entry was gained through the bathroom window. Approximately $2,000 worth of items were taken.
9:05 p.m.: Caller on Ragan Street advised that sometime between May 15 and time reported an unknown subject gained entry into his residence and stole approximately $500 worth of items
10:49 p.m.: Officer received a call in reference to a storage unit at Keep Safe Storage on the Bypass. Caller stated that sometime between July 24 and July 26 an unknown subject gained entry and took $1,600 worth of items.
