7:21 a.m.: Caller on Nolley St. reported $400 worth of items were taken from her vehicle by an unknown subject.
10 a.m.: In person complainant reported a vehicle was broken into at Mayberry Trailer Park. $1,800 in merchandise was taken.
11:04 a.m.: Caller at The Quad reported a vehicle burglary.
11:07 a.m.: Caller at Mayberry Trailer Park reported $850 worth of items was taken from his vehicle.
11:16 a.m.: Caller at CS & M Storage on Hazel Street reported her storage unit was broken into and two 50-inch TVs were taken. $650 value.
1:47 p.m.: A burglary was reported at Keep Safe Storage on Hwy 1. Suspect(s) caused approximately $300 in damages and removed unknown items.
3:09 p.m.: Caller advised ShuMichael Moore came to his business Aug. 8 and scammed him for about $500. Caller advised Moore was supposed to bring him a load of lumber but never did so. (Moore was arrested)
4:33 p.m.: A law enforcement officer stated ShuMichael Moore received $1,000 approximately 2 months ago for car parts and fuel and never repaired the car as promised and wasted the fuel joyriding through town.

7:08 a.m.: Caller on Woodyard reported her tires were slashed. Value of damages $450.
5:59 p.m.: Juz Us Daycare reported vandalism to the back of the building.
10:26 p.m.: Family Dollar Store on Texas Street reported a female did $500 in damage to a window.

8:19 a.m.: Caller on Allen Street reported paperwork valued at $20 was taken from the glove compartment.
8:53 a.m.: Caller on Amulet Street reported an unknown subject gained entry into his vehicle while parked at Hampton Inn. A Taurus G2C with serial #ACC684041 and magazines were taken.
10:25 a.m.: Caller at Hampton Inn reported two subject stole two speakers from her vehicle.

10:23 a.m.: Caller on Caspari Street reported $1,200 in damages to his vehicle. Suspect named.
1:01 p.m.: Caller on Julian reported a male pulled a gun on a 16-year-old juvenile.
4:48 p.m.: Officer called from Northern Street advising he would be removing an opossum from underneath a couch at a residence on Northern St. Did as requested.
5:29 p.m.: Caller at Wal-Mart reported a door fell on his head. Officers responded. Caller advised he attempted to enter the store through the cart entrance and bumped his head on the air vent.
Aug. 14
1:54 a.m.: Caller at the Press Box stated a female slashed two tires.
2:14-2:25 a.m.: Units requested to clear parking lots at French Market Express, Whataburger and Raisin’ Canes.

7:19 a.m.: Caller at Lakeview Apt. I reported hearing shots about 3:30 a.m. and stayed inside residence. Caller saw a bullet hole in the driver side window of her vehicle around 7 a.m.
8:55 a.m.: Caller at Lakeview Apt. II reported she was sitting in her living room at 3:30 a.m. and heard 5-6 gunshots doing damage to the bedroom wall. $2,500 value.

1:34 p.m.: City Park was burglarized. Caller stated on Thursday, Aug. 1 between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. an unknown subject gained entry into the closet of the men’s restroom causing $200 in damages and took $100 in supplies. Then on Aug. 151 during same timeframe, an unknown subject attempted to gain entry but didn’t. The trash can was taken from the women’s restroom.
7:45 p.m.: Caller on Deblieux Drive reported his license plate stolen.
8:20 p.m.: Caller on Elizabeth Street reported being scammed. In the amount of $820.

7:21 p.m.: A concerned citizen reported seeing a black female chasing a black male with a knife in the area of Duplex/Demezier. Trinity Turner was arrested for aggravated assault/domestic violence.
10:55 p.m.: Caller at the Melrose Apartments asked to be transported to Williams Ave. The NPD does not a taxi service.

Aug 17
12:33 p.m.: Caller at Raggio’s advised the day before a vehicle caused damage to his tire jack valued at $199 and stole a tire valued at $55.
2:22 p.m.: Officer advised of an attempted burglary of First Baptist Church at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 10. Suspect identified.
4:17 p.m.: Manning Mini Storage caller reported two w/m, subjects in a vehicle with Texas tags got out and broke the lock off the storage unit. Nothing was removed. Damage is $20.
6:38 p.m.: Caller at Alliance Compressors stated he parked his vehicle at 5:30 a.m. and when he returned after 6 p.m. the lugs were gone off his tires. Value $210.
8:15 p.m.: Caller at Family Dollar on Texas Street advised two men left the business with three items valued at $7.43.
Aug. 18
1:08 a.m.: 911 caller at Kappa Alpha Fraternity reported unknown suspects gained entry into three vehicles and removed multiple items including $700 cash and a .45 hand gun.

3:36 p.m.: Caller requested to speak to an officer at Magees Patio Café in reference to a customer allowing her adolescent child to use the restroom in the parking lot.
6:08 p.m.: Caller on Amulet reported her juvenile was slapped by another juvenile on the bus.
