Registrar of Voters Kathrin Holden reminds voters polls will open at 6 a.m. and closes at 8 pm. Tuesday, Nov. 8 for the open primary/congressional election.
On the ballot are:
•US Senator
•School Board members for Districts 7, 9 and 10.
•Mayors for Goldonna, Campti, Provencal and Robeline
•Robeline and Campti Chiefs of Police
•Provencal, Goldonna and Robeline Aldermen
•Campti Councilmen
•Fire Dist. 6 proposed $25 parcel fee (renewal)
•Fire Dist. 6 proposed 10 mills (renewal)
•8 Constitutional Amendments
Early voting will be in the Registrar’s office in the Courthouse Tuesday, Oct. 25-Nov. 1 (closed Sunday)
If you will be out of the parish election day, are over age 65 or mobility impaired, consider absentee voting. Fax your request to 318-357-2212 or mail to Registrar of Voters, POB 677, Natchitoches, LA 71458. Last day to request a ballot is Nov. 4.
Mail and hand delivered ballots must be returned to the Registrar’s office by 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7. Military and overseas ballots must arrive before noon on Election day.
