Over 500 vehicles passed through the Natchitoches Police Department’s checkpoint on Tuesday, Dec. 20, netting several arrests including one for intoxication. Additionally, one was arrested for a drug violation and another off an outstanding warrant. A total of 14 drivers were issues citations for various violations.
Another sobriety checkpoint is in the works for the reamning holiday season. NPD reminds all to drove sober or get pulled over.
