Four soccer players from Natchitoches Central High School were named to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s (LHSAA) All-Academic Award program. Composite Team All-Academic awardees are honored at LHSAA’s state events. To be recognized for the Composite All-Academic team, seniors must achieve an unweighted GPA of 4.0 for their first six semesters of high school and be nominated by their school principal. BethAnne Methvin, Natalie Molina, Claire Thompson and Chelsea Perritt are among fewer than 200 soccer players statewide to earn recognition as Composite Team members of the All-Academic Program.
Additional students will be selected as Class All-Academic honorees for soccer at a later date. Class All-Academic Honorees must achieve a GPA of at least 3.5 and have participated in the designated sport for a minimum of two years.
