The City of Natchitoches announces a water outage due to a water main break during construction. Residents in the Washington St. area near Flora, Emanuel, Des Negis, Desoto Rd. and Sudbury Subdivision may experience lower than normal pressure. Repairs are anticipated to be complete in 2 – 3 hours.
Once water is restored in those areas customers will be under a boil advisory.
The city will collect samples in the affected areas to confirm the water remains safe for consumption. You will be promptly advised of the sampling results.
