The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Shafonda Murphy, 40, B/F, of Natchitoches. Murphy is charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection with a Feb. 22 shooting in the 1400 block of Texas Dr. She was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
