A Mass of Christian Burial for the life of Henry O’Con will be on Thursday, April 20 at 11a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches, LA.
The family will receive friends from 9-10:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. A repast will follow the Mass at St. Anthony Church Hall.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Phillip O’Con, Steven Dupree, Travis Braden, Vontay O’Con, Jarvis O’Con and Walter Gay.
Henry O’Con was born Nov. 10, 1953 in Richmond, VA to Herbert C. O’Con and Ivy Grace Labom O’Con. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Esther O’Con White; brothers, John R. O’Con and Herbert O’Con, Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Leon Braden.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Braden and his brother, Phillip O’Con and his wife Johnnie.
Henry joined the church at an early age and loved going to church. He loved family gatherings and watching movies. Henry had a green thumb and always had a beautiful garden.
