Lakeview Gators jump to early lead over Pleasant Hill for a 9-4 victory

The Lakeview Gators took home a win during their tournament Friday, March 10 over Pleasant Hill, 9-4. The Gators jumped to an early lead in the first and sealed it with six runs in the third inning. Rafael Rosales pitched three innings allowing seven hits, two runs, two walks and had five strikeouts. Chase Walker pitched three innings giving up two runs, three hits, one walk and had four strikeouts. Tyler Sullivan pitched the final inning giving up one hit, no runs, one walk and struck out three.

In the first inning, Lakeview kicked off the scoring with one run off Sullivan’s pop fly double to right field, sending Layton Friday home. In the second, they added even more when Walker hit a pop fly reached in error in center field allowing Rosales and Kadon Cook to cross home.
