A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 911 5th St., Natchitoches, Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9- 10:30 a.m. while the body lies in state for public visitation. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass of Catholic Christian burial will start at 11 a.m. with Father John O’Brien as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Serenity Sanctum of Natchitoches. Repast will be in the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Hall.

Mrs. Wong was born in Natchitoches May 29, 1951, to Lillie Mae Beard Roque and Cleveland Charles Roque Sr. She passed away March 8, 2017, in Arlington, Texas.

She attended elementary school at Saint Anthony Catholic School and graduated from Saint Matthew’s High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joesias Wong; her parents; and brother, Charles Cleveland Roque Jr.

She is survived by her beloved son, Eldridge Eugene Alexander Sr.; adored grandbabies, Taraji Nicole Alexander and Eldridge Eugene “E. J.” Alexander Jr. and their mother, Pamela; big sister, Barbara Llorens (Ernest); and little brother, James Roque (Sharon); and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss their “Aunt Millie” greatly.

She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Ardeth Roque and Stephanie Wong-Ortiz (Carlos); brothers-in-law, Cy Wong, Charles E. Wong, Josephus Wong and Paul Wong; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
