The Natchitoches Police Department arrested 42 year-old Aldrick Edwards of Dallas for attempted second-degree murder early Saturday morning following a shooting that occurred on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. the night before.
On Aug. 9 around 7:41 p.m., NPD officers responded to the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. for a gunshot victim.
The victim was airlifted to a Caddo Parish hospital.
