Rotary President Louie Bernard planned a USA 250 Years celebration for members at his last meeting as president. Northwestern State and Natchitoches Parish School Board professionals entertained with D’nissa Hester singing, Fredy De Zubiria playing the horn and Michael Rorex playing the piano. The City of Natchitoches, in cooperation with the Cane River Waterway Commission, will present a celebration of America’s 250th birthday on the downtown Riverbank beginning at 5:30 p.m. on July 4.
Admission is free for this family-friendly event, which will feature live music, food trucks, activities for children and a huge fireworks display to close out the evening.
