White Oak Lane within the City of Natchitoches Distribution System experienced low pressure Oct. 21 This drop in system pressure below 20 pounds was caused by a water main break at the booster station in which the main had to be shut off to make repairs.
Because of this drop in system pressure, the water within the water distribution system is of questionable microbiological quality.
Therefore, as a precaution, the City of Natchitoches Distribution System is issuing a BOIL ADVISORY effective immediately for White Oak Lane. This BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect until rescinded by the Water System.
