Col. Gayland D. Muse was inducted as a member of the Demon Regiment Hall of Fame. He was unable to attend. The award, presented by Lt. Col. (R) Arthur Smalley, Regimental Chief of Staff for the Demon Regiment Executive Council, was accepted on Muse’s behalf by Maj. (R) Richard Hooter, Marketing Officer for the Demon Regiment Executive Council.
Col. J. Adam Barlow, garrison commander at Fort Polk, was guest speaker at the 76th Demon Battalion Military Ball. LTC Tyrek Swaby, professor of Military Science, presented a certificate of thanks.

ROTC Senior Military Science Instructor MSG Michael Blakely, LTC Josh Drake, recently retired senior military instructor, and Sid Hall, recently retired ROTC program manager/NSU Military Affairs coordinator, were named honorary members of the Regiment.
