Two Natchitoches males are in custody following a chase in a stolen vehicle. On Oct. 31 around 4 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were notified by the Shreveport Police Department that a stolen vehicle was pinging in the 1400 block of Grayson St.
Officers and troopers with the Louisiana State Police were able to locate the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Following a brief chase the car crashed in the 300 block of Fourth Street. The two suspects fled on foot before being placed under arrest.
Teondre Wright 24, was charged with resisting, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled or dangerous substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
