The Natchitoches Parish School Board posted on its social media site the following message regarding schools reopening.
All NPSB schools and offices will reopen tomorrow, Thursday, Sept 12. Our area has fortunately been less affected by the recent storm. Our thoughts are with those who have experienced more significant impacts.
If you are unable to bring your child to school tomorrow due to impassable road conditions or flooding, please reach out to your school and they will work with families to excuse weather related absences.
Weather related school closures are never an easy decision and we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
