The City of Natchitoches would like to inform the public that the City of Natchitoches Utility Department is currently performing utility work on East Lakeshore Drive. Crews are replacing two utility poles and a section of cable in the area. As a result of this work, there will be a temporary power outage affecting the following areas: East Lakeshore Drive McClelland Drive Charlie Street Edna Street Payne Avenue (Possibly) Adams Street At this time, there is no estimated time for power restoration due to the complexity of the job— replacing two poles and installing new cables. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as our crews work as safely and efficiently as possible to restore power.
