Sheriff’s Impact Team arrests 12 people, seizes 3 firearms

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Office (IMPACT Team) remains committed to enhancing community safety, resulting in 12 arrests and the seizure of three firearms from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27 according to Sheriff Stuart Wright.

The following individuals were arrested during this period: 1. Marion Hardy: R.S. 14:24/R.S. 14:60 – Principle to Aggravated Burglary 2. Casey White: R.S. 14:98.8 – Driving Under Suspension (DUS) due to prior DWI 3. Christian Davis: - 32:415 – Driving Under Suspension - 32:300 – Open Container - 32:861.1 – No Proof of Insurance - Possession of CDS I (Marijuana) 4. Gabriel Coutee: Possession of CDS I (Marijuana) 5. Robin Taylor: Possession of CDS I (Marijuana) 6. Rickey Wilson: Possession of CDS I (Marijuana) 7. Simco Morris: - 14:79 – Violation of a Protective Order - 32:352 – Modified Exhaust/Excessive Noise 8. Larris Edwards: Principle to Theft (2 City Marshal Warrants) 9. Paul Vaughn Jr.: - Article 737 – Contempt/ Failure to Appear (Possession with Intent CDS I & R.S. 14:95) - (2 City Marshal Warrants) 10. Nathaniel Wiley: Article 737 – Contempt/ Failure to Appear 11. DaQualon Brimsey: - Article 737 – Contempt/ Failure to Appear (Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle) - Resisting by Flight 12. Desha Willis**: - 1 count of CCRP333 – Failure to Appear - 1 count of 32:123 – Stop Signs - 1 count of 40:966C – Possession of Schedule I - 1 count of 40:1023C – Drug Paraphernalia - 1 count of 14:95.1 – Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon - 1 count of 40:982 – Second or Subsequent Offenses - 1 count of 40:966 – Possession of Schedule I (Felony) - 1 count of 14:95E – Possession of Weapons for Violence/Drugs If you observe suspicious activity in your community, contact the NPSO at 357-7851.
