Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Detectives continue to investigate Tuesday evening’s shooting in Payne Subdivision that left a Natchitoches juvenile suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
On Sept. 24 around 5:44 p.m, NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau Deputies responded to reports of “shots fired” in 100 block of Keith Drive off of La. Hwy 6 East.
While responding to the area, a sheriff ’s detective intercepted a private vehicle with emergency flashers on transporting the 16-year-old victim to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.
