The City of Natchitoches has announced Texas Street (LA-1 Business route) will be closed to all traffic at address 1539 beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, for emergency sewer repairs. Southbound through traffic must detour around the work site via the LA-1 Bypass. Northbound through traffic must detour around the work site via the LA-6 Business route (Front Street and Washington Street) and LA-6 North Bypass. Local traffic may utilize the network of adjacent City streets.The road closure is expected to last for one day.
