The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning on Lakeview Drive.
On Nov. 10, around 3:10 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of Lakeview Drive in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon officers arrival they located Marshall Claiborne, B/M, 55 y.o.a. of Natchitoches, the victim, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Claiborne was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
The Natchitoches Police Department has obtained arrest warrants on the following suspects: Alvin James Holden (B/M, 26 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) is wanted for Second Degree Murder and Attempted Second Degree Murder.
