Visiting scholar from Spain is clinical social worker and educator
Visiting scholar Professor Jose Emiliano Ramirez Garcia presented a lecture to a “Techniques in Interviewing” Social Work 3180 class this week at Northwestern State. Ramirez Garcia is a professor at the University of Alicante, Spain, who focuses on social, mental and community well-being. At NSU, he will research ideations of suicide among college students in a collaboration with NSU’s Departments of Social Work and the Computer information Systems program.
