Numerous guilty pleas draw years of prison time

District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington announced this week multiple defendants entered guilty pleas in Division B of the 10th Judicial District Court, Judge Lala Sylvester.Kaiden Burks, 17, of Natchitoches, pleaded guilty to Second Degree Robbery.

NCHS Class of 1976 reunion scheduled in May

The Natchitoches Central High School Bicentennial Class of 1976 will celebrate its 50year anniversary beginning on Friday evening, May 22, and will progress to a semi formal affair on Saturday evening, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the Natchitoches Event Center.

Senior exhibition will be in Hanchey

A senior exhibition by Northwestern State University graduate student Christina Rowland of Farmerville will be on display at NSUs’ Orville Hanchey Gallery April 6-10 with a reception from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 7. The exhibition titled “When the Signs Align” depictures Zodiac signs as humanoids.
