  • The Amazing Rhythm Disciples Band provided the entertainment with a program of oldtime Gospel songs and some lively “mash-up” songs that the band creates by combining hymns and secular works. Band members included Henry Reggans, Johnny Dunn, Rodney Harrington, John Richmond, and Keith Shirley.

    The Young at Heart luncheon for seniors was May 6 at the First United Methodist Church.Harvey Polk was master of ceremonies and Pastor Gary Willis offered a prayer before the meal.
