A longtime Natchitoches businessman was arrested late last week on theft, exploitation of the infirmed, illegal transfer of monetary funds and money laundering.
David A. Waskom, 69, was arrested last Thursday by Natchitoches Parish deputies and was booked into the LaSalle Corrections facility in Natchitoches at 3:54 p.m. He was released on $300,000 bond the following day.
