Albert “Wayne” Maley of Natchitoches, LA was born Sept. 10, 1952 in Leesville, Louisiana to Albert “Pete” Maley and Odle Lea Maley. Wayne passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family, on Sept. 23, 2023.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Beverly Johns.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Holland Maley; sons, Billy Maley (Lucia), and Anthony Maley (Andrea); sister, Vida Osborne (Joe); brother-in-law, Ronald Holland (Leanie); grandchildren, Megan Maley (Zach), MiKenzie Griffith (Tyler), Alyssa Knueppel (Lyndon), Morgan Maley (Dylan), Melanie Maley, Sam Welch (Sherly), and Haley Welch; great-grandchildren, Preston Hernandez, Randall Welch, Esme Welch, Maria Welch, and Holden Griffith (due in November), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside services were held at Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m.
The family would like to personally thank Hospice of Natchitoches, Dr. Bryan Picou Sr., Natchitoches Regional Medical Center ICU staff, as well as Dr. Dennis Britten for the amount of care and compassion shown during this time.
