Jesse Richard Gourdon, a dedicated and hardworking over the road truck driver for over 40 years, has sadly passed away on June 15 2024, in Shreveport, LA at the age of 67.
Jesse was born on May 23, 1957, in Baton Rouge, LA.
Throughout his life, Jesse was known for his strong work ethic and his love for the open road. His career as a trucker allowed him to see the country and forge lasting connections with those he met along the way.
In his spare time, Jesse found solace in the great outdoors through hunting and fishing. These hobbies brought him joy and relaxation amidst his busy schedule on the road.
Jesse is survived by his son Cody Gourdon, his mother Shirley Fredericks Easterling, and his dearest companion Sandy, his dog that he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Pamela Gourdon.
In following his wishes of cremation, a memorial mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the Trichel Community, LA will be announced at a later date.
