Local fans will be treated to two local games this weekend.
St. Mary’s will host Bunkie on Friday night in the season opener for both squads while Northwestern State will take on Prairie View A&M. (NSU and Prairie View are both looking for their first win of the season.)
Natchitoches Central is headed to Breaux Bridge Friday night while Lakeview travels to Washington.
