It’s like déjà vu all over again, a phrase taken from a famous quotation attributed to baseball great Yogi Berra best describes last week’s Village of Natchez special called meeting. The meeting took place Wednesday, Sept. 25 in the newly opened town hall.
Once again, in a split vote, the Aldermen failed to pass the proposed 2024- 2025 budget. Nor did eh Aldermen offer any amendments in an effort to get the budge passed.
Aldermen Sheila Johnson was the lone vote in favor of passing the budget as presented. Aldermen Monique Sarpy and Mckinley Hoover said no.
