Counseling Center will present Domestic Violence Awareness Week

    The Community Counseling Center will present “Domestic Violence Awareness Week” Oct. 12-18 with the following events: Saturday: Sharing “Did You Know?” domestic violence facts and statistics at The Natchitoches Farmer’s Market, 8 a.m.-noon Sunday: Domestic Violence Presentation at Agape Love Center, 11:30 a.m. following worship service Wednesday: Domestic Violence presentation at The Legacy Café, 1-3 p.m.

    Thursday: Wear purple in support of domestic violence victims nationwide Friday: Purple ribbons and facts will be passed out to local businesses If you are in need of the center’s Child Advocacy Program’s free services call Program Manager Ruby Braxton or Child Advocate Joy Dove-Cook at (318)214-4002.
