Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is moving into the former Big Lots retail space at 339 South Dr. The Natchitoches location is one seven Big Lots store leases the discount chain acquired through bankruptcy proceedings.
The national retailer specializes in name brand close out merchandise and excess inventory at up to 70 percent off. Products include food, housewares, books, clothing, bed & bath, toys, and flooring.
Ollie’s is an American Chain founded in Pennsylvania in 1982. The company’s name comes from Oliver E. “Ollie” Rosenberg, who was a backer of the company.
