Golden Star Chapter No. 62 is hosting Trunk or Treat Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot at MLK Recreation Center. The center is located at 600 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Parents are invited to bring their children to collect lots of treats.
The Beta Club and PTO at St. Mary’s Catholic School are hosting a “Spooky Soiree” Halloween Carnival on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.at the school campus. The community is invited to this family event that includes numerous activities at no cost including a costume contest, jumpy house, face painting, crafts and temporary tattoos. Additional activities are available for purchase including unlimited games ($10), haunted house ($5), Sweetie’s BBQ Truck, cotton candy and more.
Proceeds from the Halloween Carnival will benefit the junior high and high school Beta Clubs and the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at St. Mary’s. For more information contact the school at 352-8394.
