St. Mary’s Catholic School recently raised funds from the annual Pink Out T-Shirt sales for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The funds this year were raised in honor of Shelley Townson. Shelley is married to Jeff and they have four children, Mallory, Jeffrey, Dylan and Brooklyn. Jeffrey is a graduate of the SMS class of 2021 and Brooklyn is a senior. Thanks to generous support from the sale of the T-shirts, a gift of $2,634 was given to Shelley as she continues her treatment with this disease. The donation was presented to Shelley and her family during halftime of the SMS varsity football game Oct. 1. Pictured are Shelley, Jeff, Mallory, Jeffrey, Dylan and Brooklyn Townson along with extended family members. Also present representing St. Mary’s Catholic School are Chancellor Fr. Irion St. Romain, Principal Stephen Wren and Development Director Lisa Guillet.
