The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Sunday on Clarence Drive.
On Oct. 27, around 3:56 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of Clarence Drive in reference to a gunshot victim.
Upon officers arrival they located D’Mario Moran (B/M, 33 y.o.a. of Natchitoches), the victim, suffering from a single gunshot wound and immediately began to render aid while other first responders were arriving to the area. Moran was transported to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
