There are over 43 quadrillion arrangements – and only one solution to one of the most popular puzzles ever invented.
Math teachers of all levels are invited to join a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Rubik’s Cube, the iconic 3D combination puzzle invented by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ern? Rubik in 1974. Math 4 Fun will take place from 10 a.m.noon Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts Center for Performance and Technology (second floor) where mathematicians will gather for math puzzles and games.
Math 4 Fun encourages excitement among teachers as they share and experience what they love. The session will include a meal from a local restaurant and every participant will leave with a prize.
