Lions Club members use PB&J for outreach in neighborhoods

    The Natchitoches Lions Club recently heard from local organizers who have joined the efforts of the nationwide Peanut Butter and Jesus project.

    What began in Tipton, Georgia has now reached neighborhoods right here in Natchitoches! Natchitoches organizers are only one of three in the state of Louisiana.

    After seeing groups form in the city of Covington and Jackson parish, Sonya Jones, Mark and Lynette Walsworth saw an opportunity to create a much-needed outreach program for the citizens of Natchitoches They go into neighborhoods and communities in Natchitoches to plant seeds of kindness, compassion and Jesus.
