Each year St. Mary’s recognizes one of our teachers with the Em W. Knipmeyer Excellence in Teaching Award. This award is given in honor of Mrs. Jo B. Stamey’s sister who was a graduate, former teacher and principal at St. Mary’s. It is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a faculty member at St. Mary’s. This year’s recipient is Mrs. Donnan Brian who teaches computer skills to elementary students, From left are Brian and Principal Stephen Wren.
