Word reached JT that the riverbank embankment improvements he harped on recently were underway.
Apparently the Cane River Waterway Commission has graciously stepped up to help get the repairs made. They have entered a cooperative endeavor agreement with the City of Natchitoches and the Cane River Heritage Area for sea wall improvements from St. Maurice Lane to Stephens Avenue.
