Natchez Aldermen must raise sewer rates to get grant

    The Village of Natchez needs to raise its sewer rates. Last month the Aldermen gave its nod to complete the paperwork for a rate study request as required by the Louisiana Rural Water Association to receive grant dollars for a new water/ wastewater system.During the Dec. 6 meeting Ken Kerry from the Louisiana Rural Water Association reported the findings of that study.
