Funeral services for Charles Grady McQueen were at 10 a.m on Monday, April 28 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Montgomery, LA with Father John officiating. A private family burial will follow at a later date. Visitation was at 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Mr. Charles was born on Feb. 29, 1936 in Natchitoches, LA to his parents Grady McQueen and Dora Sigman. He passed away on April 13, 2025 in Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Betty Louise McQueen and Anna Lee White of Montgomery, LA.
He grew up in Natchitoches and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Left to cherish his memory, is his sister, Bessie Potter; his children, Charles McQueen Jr., Goldie Goodwin, Rusty McQueen,and Vince McQueen; his grandchildren, Adam, Roxanne, Sean, Vinita, Devin, Vince Jr., Melanie, Rusty Jr., Bianca, and Jane Marie; his nephews, his nieces, and friends.
