Doffie D. Benjamin, Sr. earned his heavenly wings of faith on the evening of September 16, 2024. He was an honorable and respectful good man. He loved his wife, family, friends and the community.
Doffie is the oldest of 11 siblings of the late Elisha and Theresa Benjamin.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 67 years of marriage, Mrs. Delores J. Benjamin, who is 89 years old and resides at their beautiful home in Natchitoches, La.
He will be missed dearly by their seven children: Joyce M. Benjamin (69), Doffie D. Benjamin, Jr.(66), Robert C. Benjamin (65), Andrew L. Benjamin (63), Larry W. Benjamin (62), Carolyn Ann Benjamin Payton (61) and Darry L. Benjamin (59), 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and friends.
He also leaves behind his loving sisters and brothers: Eulice Benjamin (TX), Doris Benjamin (LA), Brenda Benjamin (AR), Sam Benjamin (IA), and Lloyd Benjamin (IA). He joins his late sisters and brothers Don, Floyd, Elisha Jr and Ida V Benjamin.
His life will be forever cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren, as well as the many friends.
