Funeral services for Gloria Folse Smith, 73, of Campti, LA were at 11 a.m.. Saturday, July 20 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Father Dutch Voltz officiating. Interment followed in United Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Services under the direction of RockettNettles Funeral Home, Coushatta, LA.
Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 20, 1951 in Thibodeaux, LA and passed away July 17, 2024.
Gloria was passionate about her job and thoroughly enjoyed working for Jimmy Granger. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, fishing and eating seafood. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Julia Folse; and sister, Linda Guillot.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 53 years, Vickey Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ronald Dale Smith, David Smith, Ed Smith, Tim Saragusa, Jerry Hernandez, Corey Cason and Rickey Welcher.
Honorary pallbearers were Duford Hernandez, Ronald Raymond Smith and Terry Smith.
