James F. Shannon

James F. Shannon James F. Shannon, former resident of Natchitoches, LA, passed away on March 27, 2026.

He was a long time resident of Miami, FL at the time of his demise.

He was a graduate of Central High School Class, of 1953, and Southern University, Class of 1957.

He is survived by his Daughter Nikita Shannon; Grandson Blake Graham; and Siblings Julia Shannon Green, Doretha Shannon Manego, Phillip Shannon, Jr., Serenthia Shannon and Sadie Shannon Moses.

Funeral Services will be held in Natchitoches. Public Viewing will be Friday May, 8, 15 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home.

The Funeral Services will be Saturday May 9, at First Baptist Amulet at 11 a.m., with viewing at 10 a.m.

Interment will be at Jackson Square Cemetery.
