Mrs. Delores Gene Benjamin

Mrs. Delores Gene Benjamin, a 90 year old resident of Natchitoches, La. was born on January 20, 1935 to the late Philip A. Lewis, Sr. and Welch Talton Lewis.
She earned her heavenly wings of faith on the early morning of April 19, 2025. She was a hardworking Homemaker, Mother, Grandmother, Christian and Friend for many folks of Natchitoches. Mrs. Benjamin lived a beautiful and comfortable life.
She praised God from the time she Rose until her Sunset.
Her seven children will miss her dearly: Joyce M. Benjamin, (Texas), Doffie D. Benjamin, Jr. (Texas), Robert C. Benjamin (Georgia), Andrew L. Benjamin (Texas), Larry W. Benjamin (Louisiana), Carolyn Ann Benjamin Payton (Texas) and Darry L. Benjamin (Louisiana), 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and friends.
She joins her late, husband Doffie Benjamin, Sr., her father, Phillip Lewis, Sr., her mother, Welch Talton Lewis, her brother, Phillip Lewis, Jr. and a host of many other heavenly family members and friends.
On behalf of the Benjamin’s family, Mother’s work is done. She is taking her rest from her many years of laboring. Thank you all for your prayers, condolences and other acts of kindness.
