School records help Shaw, Graiani take home SLC weekly awards
For the third time this outdoor season, Maygan Shaw earned Southland Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week, shattering the SLC record—which she owned—in the women’s 400 at the LSU Alumni Gold. Vincente Graiani also took home the Male Track Athlete of the Week after being part of the 4x100 relay team that broke the school record and also nearly broke the school record in the 800-meter run, clocking a 1:49.44.
