Once again the Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) is offering Halloween costume checkout. In it eighth year, the NPL costume checkout program offers a collection of costumes for all ages, ensuring that every resident can find the perfect attire for a memorable Halloween experience.
Whether you are aiming for cute, spooky, or anything in between, your local library has you covered. This innovative service allows patrons to explore a range of options that will not break the bank. Each adult patron may check out up to two costumes.
The costumes are prominently displayed on racks in the children’s area on the first floor of the Main Branch in Natchitoches, and patrons can conveniently bring their selections to the children’s circulation desk for checkout. Additionally, the Northeast Branch (NEB) in Campti offers costumelending service.
Costumes are available on a firstcome, first-serve basis through the end of the month. Come early to have the widest selection. Costumes are due six weeks from the checkout date. Costumes must be returned in an unsoiled and undamaged condition.
Costume checkouts, like all library services, are offered at no cost to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Natchitoches Parish.
If you do not have a library card, there is no charge to sign up for one at either location. All you need is your current photo ID showing your correct address to take advantage of your local library.
