Alliance donated $12,500 to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Foundation in support of such programs as: The Steel Magnolia Run, TappedTober, the Annual Gala, the Halloween Golf Classic, and the Special Needs Initiative.

BPCC Foundation awards first Rusty Moss Scholarship

The BPCC Foundation announces Sharika Jackson as the first recipient of the Rusty A. Moss Memorial Endowed Scholarship.The scholarship honors the life of Mr. Moss, who passed away in March 2018 and is awarded to students who attend the Natchitoches campus of Bossier Parish Community College.

Sibley Lake boat ramps closed

As of Monday, Sibley Lake is closed. The boat ramps on Sibley Lake are closed due to high waters. Notification will be posted when the ramps reopen.

Meet Beautiful Bella!

Bella is a 4-year-old Staffordshire terrier/Lab mix, who has sadly spent too much of her young life in a shelter environment.

Young at Heart

The monthly Young at Heart luncheon for seniors was on Feb. 7 at the First United Methodist Church. Erin Boyt, community and provider liaison for Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, briefed the group on the NRMC services that are available to the community.

Duchess of Cane River

The Cotillion Club of Shreveport announces that Sheridan Colleen Pesnell is the Duchess of Cane River for the 2024 court. Miss Pesnell is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Wade Pesnell of Natchitoches. She attends the University of Idaho where she is majoring in Exercise Science and Pre/Med.
