Young at Heart Luncheon

The Young at Heart luncheon for seniors was held Dec. 6 at First United Methodist Church.Those attending celebrated the season by singing Christmas carols.Nettles Brown led the singing and Roxanne Lane accompanied on the piano. Evelyn Evans provided Christmas decorations for the tables.

Resource Center collecting toys

The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is holding a Toy Drive through Dec.18. Folks can drop of new and gently used toys at Stella’s Christmas Store located at 524 Front St. All donated toys will go to WRC for distribution.
